enable transparent glass option work

"Enable transparent glass" option doesn't work

Hello. I've installed Vista build 5384 on my laptop. Everything went fine except that I can't activate the "enable transparent glass" option in Visual Appearance. The option is available for select but when I select it and then press OK button nothing happeans. I've got the latest graphic card drivers. I know that I have a capable graphic card (ATI X600). Any ideas?
Thanks.

Is it Direct X 9 complient card that has driver that supports (WDDM) Windows Display Driver Model? Open Control Panel (set to Classic View) > System > Advance Settings > Hardware > Device Manager > Expand Display. If you don't see WDDM beside it, your card does have a WDDM driver installed. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Did you get the Vista drivers from ATI's home page? They are on the second page of the drivers list "ALAL" wrote:
